MAPS Mentoring Program Information for Teachers

Advanced Placement Program® teachers participating in the Mentoring Advanced Placement Mentoring Program will develop a deeper understanding of the workforce needs of the business community by connecting with the mentors. They will demonstrate this understanding through relevant enhancements to their course work and counsel to students interested in pursuing the additional educational or career training in the subject matter.

' When students come to me saying "I'm thinking about taking your AP® class, but I'm not sure I can do it" I can now say there's a support system. They'll have a mentor who can help them with the class. '
