What is the time commitment for teachers in nConnect NW?
The total time commitment for nConnect NW teachers is approximately 20 hours.
Time is spent:
- Promoting the program and collecting student applications
- Attending nConnect NW program meetings two to four times per year
- Supporting students and working with them in their AP® classes
- Distributing and collecting nConnect NW student surveys twice a year
- Attending, if possible, occasional special events
What nConnect NW activities do teachers participate in?
- Orientation and training at the beginning of the year
- Local company tours (optional)
- ISEPP lectures (optional)
- End-of-year program celebration
