MAPS' Management:

Scott Keeney, Board Chair
MAPS’ founder, and Chair is Scott Keeney. Scott is co-founder and President/CEO of nLIGHT Corporation, a leading semiconductor laser manufacturer with operations in Vancouver, Washington, Hillsboro; Oregon; and Shanghai, China.

nLIGHT has raised over $80 million from leading venture capital investors and employs over 200 people. nLIGHT has been named the fastest growing technology company in the Pacific Northwest in Deloitte and Touche’s Rising Star category in both 2005 and 2006.

In 2006, Scott was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology in the Pacific Northwest.  Previously, Scott was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and began his career in manufacturing and quality assurance in the textile industry. Scott holds an M.B.A. from Harvard and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington where he graduated summa cum laude and won the Dean’s Medal for the top graduate in Arts and Sciences. Scott grew up and attended public schools in Bellevue, WA.

Lisa Nisenfeld, MAPS' Acting Executive Director; Executive Director, Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council
Ms. Nisenfeld has worked in the employment and training field for nearly thirty years, for public, private, and private non-profit organizations. Her work has focused on creative economic development and business service strategies. She has published three nationally distributed books on creating strong workforce boards and community partnerships.  In addition to workforce development, she brings extensive experience in strategic planning, non-profit management, and program development to the MAPS team. Ms. Nisenfeld was the Board Chair for the McCoy Charter School in Portland, Oregon, which created four middle and high schools,  and was a founding member of the Women’s Center for Applied Leadership in Oregon.  Ms. Nisenfeld holds a B.A. in English and Religious Studies from Lewis and Clark College where she graduated magna cum laude.

Natalie Pacholl, Mentoring Coordinator
Natalie Pacholl works closely with businesses and schools to recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to mentors, teachers, students and schools involved in MAPS. She is also involved in fundraising and in developing new program initiatives. Prior to this position, Natalie coordinated Washington Reading Corps, an AmeriCorps program in multiple elementary schools throughout Southwest Washington. She also taught English as a foreign language for two years in the country of Benin (located in West Africa) with Peace Corps. A native Minnesotan, Natalie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of St. Catherine with a French major and biology minor.

Dan Milewski, Accounting Manager
Dan oversees budgeting, reporting, financial services, and contract management for MAPS. Dan works at nLIGHT Corporation in Vancouver, Washington as a financial analyst, managing revenue for the Defense Group. Prior to this, Dan worked at Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon as a financial analyst in charge of budget and planning for the U.S. Divisions of the Mobility Wireless Group. Dan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University. As a student, Dan spent 6 months with the BMW Group in Munich, Germany as an operations management intern where he led a European-wide process improvement team for BMW's corporate leasing business unit. Dan grew up in Roy, Utah, has lived in Arizona, Poland, Germany, and Oregon, and currently resides in Washington state.
