MAPS Businesses

Business commitment is the foundation of MAPS

Without the expertise and personal commitment of an organization’s employees, MAPS mentors are not available for area students and schools. The more mentors we have, the more students we can mentor, and the more we can support the youth in our community to become highly successful employees.

MAPS also benefits businesses.

Not only does your business gain recognition as a community partner in education, but you can also expect to see increased employee productivity and creativity as a result of your employees engaging in the MAPS program. In addition, being a mentor provides an excellent opportunity for employees to develop of hone their presentation skills. Finally, businesses will also have an opportunity to encourage students to explore careers within their industry and to identify potential interns and employers.

Businesses can help MAPS by:

  • Identifying and supporting employees as MAPS mentors
  • Providing student summer internships
  • Providing student scholarships
  • Other financial support

Current MAPS mentors come from the following businesses:
