Mentoring Advanced Programs for StudentsQ: What will it take to help Washington students excel in the global economy? A: Exceptional teachers, interested students, rigorous curricula, and meaningful relationships with people who show how education matters in the real world. We work with school districts, teachers, high school students, and professionals from the business world to bring real-world relevance, rigor, and relationships to the classroom. We do this through a combination of student mentoring, teacher training, and the provision of incentives. We are backed by a broad range of private and public organizations from across Washington State and is funded through a combination of funds from the Washington State Legislature, private foundations, school districts, and individuals.
